Hey everyone! We’re so back. And today we’re back with some critical elements of successful social media campaigns. But before we jump in today - make sure to check out the Stronger Social website. I finally updated it. Made it a little cleaner. And hopefully you all like it as well.

We’ve got some good stuff in today’s email.

In this issue, we will go over the following:

  • The 4 C’s to successful social media campaigns

  • What stopped my scroll: David Protein just flexed on us all

  • Social Pro Spotlight: Josh Rangel is really the 🐐 for social memes

  • 5 hot social job opportunities that you should check out

Let’s get to it.

It’s one thing to generate a high performing social media post.

It’s another to generate a high performing campaign on social media.

When social media professionals (and teams) are tasked with crafting social campaigns, we should jump on the ask. We need to think big. And truly push boundaries.

Because it’s one thing to “go viral” with a post.

It’s another to “go viral” in a campaign and sell out your product in less than 24 hours. Or 28 minutes. Like David Protein. This campaign was stellar - the content, the IRL experience, the heavy influencer & creator support. So many memorable touchpoint to bring it all to life. All executed and amplified through social & creative.

If you want to check it out here, you can.

As social pro’s, we need to think less about making social posts. And more about gassing up campaigns. This is your opportunity to make your big moments bigger. This can include product launches, events, brand campaigns, and much more. But we must think big and leverage everything at our disposal.

But this is where a lot of brands fall short.

They don’t use everything at their disposal.

They make a post.

Then they make another post.

Maybe a sustain post.

And call it a day.

So today, i’m going to show you The 4 C’s that your campaign is missing. Check out this slide below that hits on the 4 C’s 👇

The problem is that most brands just throw up posts and make “content” (the first C). When in reality this is just one component of a social campaign. I have seen brand campaigns where 75% of their budget goes into creators and 25% into brand content even.

So for your next campaign, do me a favor.

Sit down and evaluate your strategy.

Do you have these 4 C’s? If not, it could be worth diving deeper and integrating this into your strategy.

What Stopped my scroll

In today’s newsletter - we’re fully focusing on David protein if you can’t tell already. I can’t help it because this was one of the best brand collaborations and cultural collaborations that social has seen in a while. David hijacked one of the biggest trends right now with one of the biggest names - Inde Navvarette. This was a double whammy - culture x culture. It’s no surprise this did well and generated 3.5M views.

Massive shoutout to David Protein.

Social Pro Shoutout

Social media professionals know social media best. What a concept, right? When we say a post is going to flop…it’s probably going to flop. We need to be trusted. Because we know the platforms, and content the best.

I love a good meme more than anyone, and Josh nailed this. Make sure to go give Josh a follow on LinkedIn!
